[...] the work of art has, in our time, the principle sense of a rupture, of a differentiation in the indistinguishable chain of signs that constitutes the cultural universe of the mass society. In the face of the globalization of communication, the art isolates, cuts, detains, decelerates, accelerates, inverts and subverts.
In the end, it differentiates the image, establishing so a space of autonomy of senses that lets it be poiesis, production of knowledge and pleasure, configuration of the truth and the emotion by means of synthesis os the sensitive and the concept.
